Pressing first blueberry wine

I have been fermenting on the skins and pulp for a few days now. I also added rasins.

I have cheese cloth I was going to use to strain it out.

But I also have the cone type device to extract juice from grapes (for making jelly)

It has a wooded club for mashing the grapes.

Would something like this work?

Pete, I have made several batches of Blueberry Wine. When I'm ready to remove the pulp, I use a cone type strainer(like restaurants use)to remove the big parts of the pulp and then strain through a couple of nylon bags which I purchased at Home Depot in their paint department. These nylon bags are used for straining five gallons of paint. They are very inexpensive and work great for straning your pulp. If you don't have a Home Depot, any paint store should have them. Hope this helps James

Do you squeeze the pulp after you strain it?

I actually squeeze the pulp when I use the cone strainer. I take a large wooden spoon and force the juice through the cone strainer and then discard the pulp. James
