New store post?

I hate spam as much as anyone, and realizing that newsgroups are for non-commercial posts I thought I would ask first so as not to get flamed.

I am opening a Winemaking and Brewing Supply store in the NW suburbs of Chicago in about a week. Do you folks care if I do a one time informational post with details, directions, etc?

I don't mind, but "Evil Donald" is de ad hoc moderator (and you ought to see what he has for you).

I'll even send you my recipe for Chateau Trailer Park. It should be a big hit with Cub fans since it's a great chaser for Zoloft and Valium.

Actually, I got an email from Evil Donald. According to him, there are some things I have to do to post here that I don't really want to do. Did all you guys really have to .... well, nevermind.

Thanks for the recipe, but who are the Cubs?

Ok, here's the info:

Perfect Brewing Supply

802 Seton Ct. Wheeling, IL 60090 847-947-7665

Hours: Tue-Fri 11-6 Sat 11-4

We have the beer section up and ready, the wine section will be ready in about a week. I am an experienced brewer, but learning to make wine, so if there are any Chicago suburban wine guys who would be willing to advise me on stocking items, it would be appreciated.

By the way, we carry Jaffrey wine and cider presses, and since they're so expensive, we're thinking about doing rentals. Has anyone ever heard of that?

I have to go now. My wife said someone is on the phone for me. She said there was a lot of heavy breathing, and then somebody said something about Donald.

JC - Send your store information to Jack Keller. I believe he has a list of home brew/winemaking shops on his web site.
