I figure if a newsgroup does not have an actively posted FAQ or living URL to a FAQ, there is either no interest in one, or the newsgroup is dead. For years as a penniless student (and more importantly) grapevine-less human, I read that FAQ repeatedly.
Now that I have solved my vineless condition, and am not penniless (*crosses fingers, taxes are coming*) I'm going to try to build my first year of Chez Karel. This is directly due to the influence of the expertise of posters in this newsgroup and the excellent FAQ.
I'm excited, this is going to be fun.
BTW, any cures for chipmunks that don't involve killing the cute little horrible thieves? They've eaten 3/4 to 9/10ths of this years' grapes...
