WineMaker Mag Dessert Blueberry wine

This makes a sweet, full bodied dessert wine with good legs and tremendous sweet blueberry flavour. 1 gallon recipe. starting SG



1.125

Ingredients:



4 lbs fresh blueberries
1.5 lbs sugar (900gm)
1lb clover honey
3 qts boiling water (1.5 l)
1tsp acid blend
1 tsp pectic enzyme
1 c orange juice
1 pdg port style wine yeast
1 campden tab


  1. sanitize



  1. add honey and water to stainless or glass pot. boil. skim
  2. blueberries and sugar in 2 gallon primary. crush
  3. add honey/water. add acid blend and cover with towel
  4. let cool. add pectic enzyme
  5. mix yeast and oj in jar and proof. add to must
  6. blah blah blah....
