I'm not denying anybody anything - if you want to smoke that's up to you - I don't want to and don't see why I should be forced to.

My sarcasm mode was turned down too far it seems. What I meant is that it is a pity it isn't raining harder, and slantier. (Coming in under the smoke shelter if there is one.)

Unapologetically, this is payback time. Or revenge time. These people that have made my pub visits so unpleasant owe me. One way or another.

As you sow, so shall you reap. With apologies to any Bible Bashers!

My local real ale pub has refused to put anything like that up and good for him :-)

I can't see that any of them will be bothered. :-)

One smoker was believed to light up on Sunday lunch, only for his wife to beat him over the head and force him out of the door. The landlord and myself, did not see the incident, but it must have been fun :-)

Monday 2 July - a disident lit up in the White Star, Liverpool, this afternoon and was quickly ordered out.

He never returned.

and was quickly ordered out.

Probably to the relief of not only the bar staff.

I think the best point anybody has made so far in this rather heated discussion is "daddy, did they really let people do that?".
