Oddly enough I just bought a standard Glenlivet 12yo, but one in the fancy boxes. I missed these last year but they seem to be re-doing them for Christmas this year. Thankfully they're not charging more than they do for the non-fancy box version.
And thankfully I quite like Glenlivet 12yo.
For my second dram I'm sipping a Cabrach 10yo - it's an IB with my name on the label - my Dad got me two bottles for my 40th back in March. I suspect it's a Highland Park or something of that ilk. Quite good.
And thank you. Slainte mhath my friend.

And here in North Carolina it's almost 80 F and I'm bopping about in the MG Midget with the top down, wearing shorts and a T.
But we will have some French Oak Finish tonight.

I'm sticking with this 20yo. Sharing this afternoon with you two gentlemen, who are younger than most of my natural children, has been most delightful. Thank you both.

I'm off work tomorrow (and Friday) as we're having a new washing machine delivered.

I've been enjoying this discussion vicariously, many hours later, in the company of one of my favourite forces of nature, the Ardbeg 10.
cheers, all.
