Mexican beer is to beer as Mexican water is to water. 'Nuff said!

I've had a brown beer in Cozumel each time I have visited there named "Leon". Not bad. The best I've ever had south of the border.

Exactly right!! I wouldn't drink the water in Mexico--why would anyone drink anything that contains water from Mexico?
Back in the bad old days in Europe, the water in urban areas was notoriously unfit to drink - but the beer brewed from that water was safe. Of course it was - the water had been boiled. Same thing with beer made in Mexico.
Besides, Negra Modelo's not a bad drink. Can't say the same about most pale Mexican lagers, though.
At least in there beer, they filter most of the big chunks!!!!
