Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock.....

Saw this in a store here today. The bottle was about the size of a wine bottle with a metallic stamped label. At $15.99 this stuff better be pretty good. Anyone out there had it and is it worth the price..?

I like most of the Sam Adams products, really like the cream stout, though I haven't had it in quite some time.

I'm a big Young's Double Chocolate Stout drinker, and I really liked the Sam Adams Chocolate Bock. It was definitely a nice change of pace without getting too 'out there'. *Very* drinkable, and it's interesting tasting the chocolate but not feeling the 'creaminess' of the Young's. Patrick W. Its probably not that great now being that it is only 5.6% abv ... not sure on the shelf life but I am pretty sure it was bottled in Jan.

I bought 3 bottles of it. Good stuff, 4 sure but I prefer the Rogue Morimoto Hazelnut by a wide margin but that one's gone from my area too.

FWIW, I heard the Morimoto connection's over and they're back to putting Chris on the label again...
