Has anyone heard of this: Villefort - I can't absolutely vouch for the spelling.
I had a bottle in a bar in Gavarnie, in the Pyrenees, south western France, in 1989. Just once - but from memory it was a nutty, brown beer - just a little similar to Newcastle Brown Ale, but nicer.
Has anyone had this beer? Has anyone got more recent recollections? Does anyone know where it is on sale, and if it can be shipped to the UK?
