My warsaw-question failed miserably, so I'll try again; where's the best beer store in newcastle and what do they sell there that's hard to get in the rest of the world? 'The rest of the world' refers to the rest of Europe.
My friend is going there to catch some beer for me and I don't want my instructions to be too complicated =)

I haven't been to Newcastle for several years now, but last time I was there it was pretty bleak for good bottled beer. There is really nothing in the city centre, but a bus ride to Jesmond Dene could be worthwhile. The store is:

245-249 Jesmond Road Newcastle upon Tyne Tyne And Wear NE2 1LB Tel: (0191 281 4499)The Number 38 bus from Westgate Road bus stop near the Newcastle Central railway station to Jesmond Road (direction of Newcastle Freeman Hospital) will get your friend there. The journey is about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Can't really say what brands they may have, although they used to carry a good selection of English/Scottish ales. I recommend a walk thru Jesmod Dene while there:

As has already been said Rehill's is the place to go. Other than that Fenwick's on Northumberland St (ask absolutely anyone in Newcastle for directions) makes an effort with beer.
One or two pubs have the odd decent bottle you could get as a carry-out (not the most cost effective method). Notably:
