Day's Golden Lager
I just returned from New Orleans, and I discovered a "local" beer (brewed in Louisiana) called Day's Golden Lager. I bought a six of it, drank it, but frankly, wasn't too thrilled with it. Has anyone...

Uinta Angler's Pale Ale
I didn't like this one nor their King's Peak Porter. Both had that "grainy" taste to them and for me, that's a definite no no. Best regards, Bill

Old Dog Brown Ale
from Smuttynose. One of the few browns that actually tickled my fancy, especially around 60*f. Btw, their Shoal's Pale is also an excellent sample of the style. My hat's off to this New Hampshire...

Re: Los Angeles: Bars
Cafe Boogaloo in Hermosa. Live music (blues, usually), beach city crowd - not a west side crowd at all - good beers, reasonably priced for out here. -Steve

Re: [NEWS]: Solomons brewery stocks up for Aussie troops

Budweiser, a conclusion
If it takes a stupid person to buy Budweiser and Budweiser is the best-selling beer in America, then you connect the dots with nice straight lines and come to a very unpleasant conclusion. LOL! Stan

Re: Philadelphia trip
I like McGlinchey's bar, 259 S.15th Street, good beer and cheap prices ($1.45 for Yeungling Porter, other beers around $2.90). Also try Nodding Head on Sansom Street, just round the corner from...

Caguama Beer
Yes, it's a relativly inexpensive El Salvadoran brew made for the Kroger supermarket chain, but I like it! I find it refreshing and yummy, a near perfect summer beer! p.s. And the turle on the bottle...
