Real Ale pubs on the Isle of Mull

Does anyone know of any Real Ale pubs on the Isle of Mull?

I may be paying a visit there later on this year.

Great place for a holiday but don't expect to find too much real ale.

Two summers ago the only place was in Tobermoray down near the distillery. I can't remember the name but it was adjacent to the main car park. Over the ten days they had 2 or 3 brews on from the Atlas Brewery, in great condition.

There was another pub on the front which promised real ale on their "coming soon" board but it didn't materialise. johnnysaint

I know the place you mean. It's called MacGochans, and is located right next to the distillery.

There is one other place directly across the harbour from MacGochans that I enjoyed more when I was there two years ago. It's the Mishnish

and they always carry a number of real ales.

That's the place Garth. I think the Mishnish was the other pub, we must have caught them at the wrong time.

Thanks for the memory jog. Mull is a great place to spend some time.
