More ale-related fun in Manchester - Beerienteering!
The Under 26 Social Group is running this new event on Saturday 12th June, starting in the Knott bar around 1 p.m. The challenge is to visit
6 pubs in correct order, using buses, trains, trams and on foot only with various ordeals on the way southwards. Each team member pays £1 on the day (teams are to be from 1 to 4 in number) with proceeds going to the Parkinson's Society.
The team that finishes the course the quickest or with the least time penalty wins a commemorative plaque and the team that comes last gets the wooden spoon. A map and clues are provided.
