Just a reminder that it's the Halifax Beer Festival this Friday and Saturday (11th & 12th May). Once again it's being held at the impressive 18th Century Square Chapel, 2 minutes away from the railway station.

Additionally, there are some wonderful pubs nearby including Osset Brewery's Three Pigeons, which recently won a CAMRA award for its architecture (and is also in the GBG)
