Is it my imagination or ...

.have Young's beers improved since production has moved to Bedford?

I lived in Wandsworth for many years and I'm a still a regular visitor

- it seems to me that their bitter is a much less hit-and-miss affair. I'm also find it in other parts of the UK in rather tasty condition - not something that happened previously.

I opened a bottle of SLA this evening and it was truly gorgeous.

IMHO winter warmer seemed to have improved.

I used to love the first few casks of WWW (wandsworth winter warmer, that is) - i heard a rumour, that was borne out either by my tastebuds or imaginaton, that they would age the first brew in cask before sending it out - always tasted yummy & rummy.

if it's improved on that . . .

I'm in no rush to try any of the beers really tho - especially due to the shameful way the merged company seem to have acted towards their former PR chief (& CAMRA founder) Michael Hardman. cheers MikeMcG
