Hatfield, Hertfordshire - recommendations

The "Horse and Groom" (21, Park Street, Old Hatfield) is a pleasant surprise. The "Red Lion" (88 Great North Road) good McMullens beers, a bit "foody".

"The Wrestlers" (89 Great North Rd) is a nice old pub with several real ales. It's not next to the Red Lion despite the address but further North, across the railway line.

Visited The Red Lion on Saturday afternoon, good food and enjoyed the McMullens beer.

Glad you enjoyed it. McMullens beers are still very good IMO!

I think there was a time when the "Wrestlers" was in the GBG. A town the size of Hatfield should be able to sport at least one GBG entry!
