Looking for good drink and food in the Pontyclun area. GBG doesn't seem to have much to offer.

You have to walk up the track (not just kidding, there's a footpath to the south) to the Boar's Head, Tylagarw. or ask Dave RATS, who might say the same.
I'd be surprised if the BH isn't in the GBG, it's been Mid Glam POTY lots of times.

I'd already spotted this pub on a trawl of the internet but couldn't find it in 2012 GBG. Will certainly give it a visit.

Finally found this pub in the GBG, listed under Tyla Garw not Pontyclun. Will definitely be giving it a visit.
