Beside the Station Tavern, can you suggest any other pubs in Huddersfield?? Looking both for real ales and for interesting pub grub.

Can't comment on availability of food, sorry (although Huddersfield is not short of restaurants and takeaways), but for ale you really shouldn't miss The Grove, The Star and the Rat & Ratchet. The Albert in the town centre is pretty good, too.
Out of town you have a number of good places too - all accessible by bus or train, e.g. the Rose & Crown at Golcar (Golcar Brewery Tap), the Sair Inn at Linthwaite (brewpub), the Riverhead Brewery Tap at Marsden (now part of the Ossett pub chain).
There are others, but that little lot should keep you busy for a while :-)
