How many people drink every day?

According to UK national statistics, only 7% of people 25-44 have at leaste one drink every day. See

Seems plausible to me. I drink far more alcohol than is good for me, but even I don't drink every single day. Sometimes you're just too hung over to face it :-)

I should hope that most people do drink at least once per day. Unless, of course they are David Blaine...
