Interbrew UK is recalling 'stubbie' 25cl bottles of megaswill Castlemaine XXXX and Stella Artois packed in 10,20 or 24 multipacks with best before dates Jul05, Aug05 and Sep05, due to a defect in the bottles.

Is that a defect in the bottles themselves or the contents? ;oD M
It's a defect in the bottles themselves. Defects in the contents are taken as read - they are a selling point.
Surely they could run a marketing campaign for Stella in defective bottles along the lines of "reassuringly damaged".
