liverpool watering holes please?

there's some cracking pubs, my favourites include - (all GBG listed AFAIK)

Baltic Fleet (Wapping, near Albert Dock) home to the excellent Wapping Beers' brewery in the cellar & very good Floor1 restaurant upstairs.

Lion Tavern, (Moorfields, nr Station) - beautiful old pub (NI listed) always a mild on & a few other RAs, plus great plates of cheese, bread & pickles.

Ship&Mitre, (Dale Street) - cracking, quirky, friendly pub, with by far the best range of beer in town, & very well-kept; if you get bored with the 16 or so cask beers, they've a decent range of bottled imports too.

Dispensary (Renshaw St, aka RapidHardware St, you'll see why) Cain's first town pub, Cain's full range (incl the usually excellent mild) plus a decent guest.

Ye Olde Cracke (Rice St, near Philharmonic Hall) slightly grubby but characterful old pub with decent beer (Oak/Phoenix WobblyBob is a permanent feature)

The Philharmonic (Hope St - up Hardman St, turn left) pub itself - can get v busy, but definitely worth a look for the impressive interior.

Everyman Bistro/Bar (also Hope St, towards Paddy's Wigwam) - late licence, good beer, great food, friendly, eclectic crowd.

The Globe, (Cases St, opp Central Stn) hidden gem in the middle of town, can be boisterous, but friendly, great beer incl Cain's Mild.

Just a word to say the best beer in Liverpool by a country mile has to be Cains' Raisin Ale.

First came across this gem at the RC Cathedral's best event in the calendar some four years ago. A magical brew, quite unlike any other (which in this day and age is a revelation) and perhaps the most refreshing beer known to man!
