Llangollen pubs

We're now counting down the days and very much looking forward to our weekon the Llangollen Canal. The plan (although subject to variation) is thatwe'll eat on board some evenings and search out a suitable pub for others.As it's been a while since I last boated the Llangollen, the canalside pubsI recall as being good for food, beer and also child friendly, may not be soany longer. Any comments - in particular on recent visits - would be verywelcome on the following or, indeed, any further recommendations in betweenWrenbury and Llangollen itself.Cotton Arms (Wrenbury)Dusty Miller (Wrenbury)Narrowboat Inn (near Maestermyn boatyard)Poacher's Pocket (Chirk Bank)The Telford (Trevor Wharf)Sun Trevor (Llangollen-ish)Also, last time I passed on the A5, the former Black Lion (at Rhoswiel?)appeared to have undergone a remarkable transformation (now called LionQuays?).
