They've got this beer exclusively in some Wetherspoons on draught ATM. Very nice, but sweet. Certainly a beer with a difference. It has a rich aroma of plum.
Anybody else tasted it?
They also had some O'Hanlans stout which was nice.

Me too - and we have it on again now. I love it! Very plummy and very sweet!
Had some during their recent beer festival. Nice, but too sweet for my palate. Half a pint would be enough, I think.

It was on tonight at the Friar Penketh, (Warrington Weatherspoons) tonight. Quite acceptable as a drink but I wouldn't have thought of it as a beer!
Thanks for the tip, I might drop in on the way home from work tomorrow and give it a try there. See whether it matches up to the gorgeous Cwmbran plum porter which is far from being too sweet, being on the dry side with a delicious fruitiness deep down in the body. Great stuff if you can find it - I had a couple of bottles given to me as a present.
Yes, I made the mistake of ordering a pint in my local 'Spoons. Far too sweet for my taste, had a job to finish it. The manager told me that it was selling really well, maybe its our local Polish community that's drinking it.
It was so good "Chief" had four pints of it on Wedensday.
