I'm reporting this because I know that many people from the UK travel there.
I just returned from Disney and am sad to say that beer selection there has not gotten any better in the 4 years since my last visit. In fact I think it's gotten worse.
One of the better places to go on my last visit was Big River Grille and Brewing Works (Disney World's only brew pub). This place was not as good as the last time I was there (new brewer from last time). I found the keg beers to be very bland and the cask "Appricot Pale Ale" was served at 70 degrees Fahrenheit (which the bartender informed me was the proper temperature for real ale and told me I was crazy when I told him 55 degrees was the proper cellar temp, there was a cooling jacket on the cask). I was also told by the bartender that all the British customers loved the cask ale and it always sold out quickly (they must not be CAMRA members). I had one pint of the cask ale and I had to chug it to get it down (nasty stuff).
As far as the World Showcase at Epcot goes the best beer was at the excellent restaurant at Canada. They sold four varieties of Unibroue beer from Quebec (they make excellent Belgian style beers). Unfortunately Unibroue beer was only available at the restaurant and not at the outside at the Canadian beer stand (unlike 4 years ago when it was one of the tap options). The bottled beer from Morocco was nice. Germany had atleast selections from breweries other than Becks this time (unfortunately the Spatten was down when I was over there). The Rose and Crown British pub had there usual crap keg beer. It did have the best value with the plastic half yard (which I refilled with keg Boddingtons quite a few times since there wasn't much great selection out there in the first place and it was a good place to view the fireworks from).
