OT mad threshers wine / champagne deal.

The trouble with this is that Thresher's prices are about 40% more than the supermarkets.

There's been considerable speculation as to how 'accidental' the release of this voucher is.

It's only cheaper than Threshers normally do, not cheaper than others. A colleague who left today could give you chapter and verse.

An advert would suggest that I had something to do with Threshers, I don't.

As an ex-Threshers employee, I can tell you that it WILL make the prices cheaper than the supermarket. Plus, the wines they sell tend to be a lot different to the supermarkets. A lot less brand name stuff (I'm talking about Wine Rack and Threshers stores here, not 'The Local' shops). Their 3 for the price of 2 offer generally makes things cheaper than the supermarkets, so 40% off will be better still. For example.... a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne..... normal retail price... around £80 a bottle... Threshers normal price is £99.99....this offer brings it down to £59.99, now that is a bargain!! Talking to an ex-colleague...the wine is flying off the shelves! ....and yes, I really am an ex-employee, I don't still work there and I have nothing to gain by saying this!!
