Skew from Suthwyk

Stumbled upon this yesterday in Petersfield. A new brewery for me, but I see from Imbiber, it is not a brewery but a contract brew for a local farmer. Why a farmer in Southwick (near Fareham) should contract brew is unclear. However, barmaid at pub thought the farmer DID brew.

Anyone know any more on Suthwyk and who brews Skew?

It wasn't in Foggy's was it?

Suthwyk Ales was launched in August 2000 by a barley grower who has a farm near Fort Southwick who decided to diversify. Much is made of the historic links to the old Golden Lion brewery in Southwick but that is rather tenuous. Oakleaf in Gosport has certainly brewed for them and I understand Hop Back has too. Skew is an excellent beer a little like a lower ABV Summer Lightning.
