Their beer has almost vanished from Leicestershire and what little I've tried in the last 5 years has mostly been mediocre. Pubs rarely have a problem with serving mediocre beer, so I believe they've priced themselves out of the market.
I'd rather they did that than follow the Brakespears route, there's no point being markets they can't compete profitably in. Even a perfect pint of Landlord is simply not worth the premium they want.
