I'm heading to Buffalo, NY to do some beer buying and was wondering what stores would be best for selection and price for British beers?

The main store in my neighborhoood is Premier Liquor on Delaware Ave., the beer is sold in the gourmet section of the building. If you want to try some local microbrew I'd recommend my friends at The Flying Bison brewery.

they have one more barrel of IPA and then it's only next year when they will brew it again. : (
Premier is great for beer and a lot of other stuff, too!
Would anyone know if they carry Directors Bitter, or do I have to look elsewhere in town for it?
I have no idea. But I bet you'd find it in an LCBO across the border in Ontario.
You might also add that you would like this splendid beer at a price that is slightly less than $10 for 4 cans.
Is Director's Bitter imported in the US? I've never seen it. I take it, from the above price quote, the stuff (once) available in Canada was imported from the UK in nitro cans? I know there used to be several domestically brewed versions of UK ales in Canada (Toby was one)...
