I saw in the paper that there is a new movie called Beerfest. All the reviews I have read have panned the movie implying it is filmed for mental midgets. Anyone seen it or have an opinion?

The only positiver review I've seen for it has been on B**rAdv*c*ate. Draw your own conclusions. ;-)
It is by the same people who brought you "Super Troopers" and "Club Dread". So yeah, it is stupid fun, not a movie about describing hop flavors. Not "Snakes on a Plane" stupid fun, but Steve Martin in the 80s kind of stupid fun.

I saw it and thought it was pretty good. It actually has a plot! The one liners come fast and furious.
Heh, yeah, it was better than I'd worried it might be... Don't expect high art, but it's funny enough. Hell, have a beer or two watching it, and I'll bet it's even more fun.
