What did George Washington drink?

I tried Yard's Revolutionary Porter and found it to be very nice, with a hint of molasses. I asked on the NG if anyone had tried it but got no replies, so I guess not. The porter was very good but I only bought one six, it being very expensive at $13 a six. Leo

With some regret, we passed up the opportunity to try the two Yard's revivalist ales by having dinner at Philly's City Tavern. We went to Monk's a second time instead. Maybe next time.

Oh, Guess

I've heard Monk's is great but haven't had a chance to try it. Had the Yard's Porter at a friends last week. Agree it was excellent.

Been going through a Flying Fish sampler right now. Love the Porter and the ESB. The Dubbel is a bit too harsh for my taste. Anyone try these?

Thanks Leo. Looking forward to warmer weather when I can try the summer Ale. Hell, I'm just looking forward to warmer weather. :-)

Spare me. Bad yellow pisswater from a deservedly marginal brewery that didn't even start making beer until long after GW was dead. Not even a good troll, even if you got me to respond.
