Really easy drinking, dark, smooth, nutty, hint of caramel. The mutts nuts. 9.5/10

Plus a sour / woody edge, slight, but nevertheless present...

As part of the ale blend has been matured in oak casks - not too unexpected!

Was this on cask somewhere? (I think it is occasionally)

I've really enjoyed the bottled version & I like the oddness of such a reviled brewery making such a fantastic & historically interesting beer, that's such hardwork & time to make.
