hard cider

Any cider brewers out there? Thinkin about givin it a shot, any hints/tips/resources would be helpful. Ive looked around online and basically just found places that are trying to sell equipment (apple mashing stuff) but not much in terms of the how to.

If you have apple trees then it might be worth while. I don't, so I purchase the cider in jugs. I add flavorings to bring out some aspect. Think of nectar juice from any exotic fruit. I'll also add in 1 or 2 frozen concentrates of apple juice. Yeast, well you could use champagne or mead. Give it 45 days and your done.
