What are the nominal dates of first-flush pickings in the various tea regions?

various

I don't really know, but in tropical climates, i.e. Sri Lanka and, I assume, Southern India, tea is plucked the year round.

Ripon (Vienna,VA)

So there's no "first flush" for Ceylon and South-Indian teas at all?

--Blair "Waste of a good marketing niche."

No, but there are quality seasons varying from district to district.

Hei Jon, alltid hyggelig aa treffe en norsk teelsker!
