Committee members are being offered a six year old, has anybody tried it and is it worth the £25 per bottle or should I just buy 6 bottles of Lagavulin, before it disappears of the face of the planet?

Better buy one bottle of Ardbeg 17 because I was told that it will disappear. and it will, just the time is not yet clear.

The Ardbeg 17 from the old ardbeg is out !!! but they will release a new 17 in april 2004, but im not sure if its as good as the old 17yo
The ardbeg 6 is only for commitee members and i dont think they have relesed such a young whisky before ?

If I am right, Ardbeg re-opened in 1989. So 1989 plus 17 years is 2006. I don't think it will be already released in 2004.

they will release a 17 YO in april next year, they must have had some in casks just for ageing ? dont know but you can check it out at their website
