1989 Lynch Bages and 1995 Mouton

Jun 01, 2010 1 Replies

Sunday we enjoyed with friends a 1989 Lynch Bages (about one hour of air) and 1995 Mouton Rotschild (1.5 hours of air). The Lynch Bages, was, IMO, at its peak. Great nose, supple, still good fruit. Everyone loved it. The Mouton still closed in, but also good. I would wait a few more years on the Mouton or let it breath longer.

Thanks for your post. Since I have both of these wines, it gives me an idea how they are going.
