1999 Cote de Bourg ROC

That's all I know about this lovely red I had in London. Can anyone tell me more? Where to find in the states?

At first I thought you had mistyped Cotes de Bourg AOC, then realized it would have been AC.

So now I'm going to hazard a guess that you're referring to Roc de Cambes, which is usually considered the most prestigous bottling in the Cotes de Bourg AC. A modern full-bodied Merlot, same owner as Tertre Roteboeuf I think, it is the most expensive CdBourg but still often a better deal than St Emilions that cost twice as much.

I liked the '99, which I grabbed for $20. Doubt it's still available for that. I know I saw at Grapes in Rye NY, think about $30 (but Daniel Posner usually gives a 15% discount on full or mixed case). Can try winesearcher.

My notes on '99 (and other vintages) should be in archives of this group
