2002 Dujac Clos de la Roche GC

With grill roasted (beer can) chicken, fingerling potato salad with truffled vinegarette and grilled summer veggies. The 2002 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche was a bit lighter in color than expected. Plenty of sweet red cherry and vanilla on the nose with a bit of earthy mineral notes. Medium bodied on the palate with a very ripe red berry and cherry flavor that was well balanced with a zippy acidity on the finish. The wine was still quite young and showed a fair amount of fine tannic structure. A very solid "A"

I'm envious. I just love Dujac, but can no longer afford. Evocative note, thanks

Shit hell, is that offer open to more than just Dale? I'm a 3.5-hour drive from Columbus, Bill, and I'd give my left nut for Dujac Clos de la Roche. Their '88 stands as my all-time favorite bottle of Burgundy right now...

You're always welcome perfesser. I'm not sure how much Clos de la Roche I have left but I have sufficient quantities of many flavors to keep you happy for an evening or two.
