Drinking through my orphan bin of white wines I found this bottle from a nu mber of cases of Morey Coffinet wines that I bought whenI was affiliated wi th the Ohio distributor of these wines. I visied the domaine a number of t imes over the years and thought the wines were a good QPR. The 2005 Morey- Coffinet Chassagne Montrachet 1er Morgeot was my last bottle. The wine was deep gold in color. Nose had a slight hint of oxidation showing apples an d pear notes. Deep and concentrated on the palate. Orchard fruits, vanill a, a bit of apple pie spice and a soft acidity. Pretty close to being over the hill but still drinking well enough. "B-"
