2006 William Fevre Chablis Bougros GC

I seared off some nice fresh local Walleye last night with fresh squash sau te and the last of our fresh sweet corn. I opened a bottle of 2006 William Fevre Chablis Bougros GC from my orphan bin. Color was pale gold and clea r, nose of oyster shells and hazelnuts. Intense fresh lime on the palate i nitially followed by a little vanilla, plenty of minerality and an underlyi ng richness and depth. A very faint reductive note on the finish. B+

Glad it showed well. I like modern Fevre a lot, but have had high PremOx ra te.
