I met some friends for dinner last night and they opened a bottle of 2008 L ewis Cellars Napa Cabernet with dinner. Dark reddish purple in the glass w ith a bit of sediment. Nice nose of cassis, black cherry and apple pie spi ces. Smooth and seamless on the palate, medium weight and nice acidity and length. Lots of Napa fruit but not overbearing with plenty of black plum, blackberry and anise. Nice bottle. "B+"
