I opened this last night at our weekly tasting session. I recieved a six pack a few years ago as a gift and I've been slowly working my way through them and I'm now down to my last bottle...pity. The wine was a nice garnet reddish purple a bit cloudy and had thrown off quite a bit of sediment. The nose was ripe and more red fruit than black. A bit of minty herb and milk chocolate but nothing was overt. Very smooth on the palate with medium weight. Plenty of red currant, plum, a bit of white peach and a very pleasant sweet ripe fruit. Very smooth tannins with just enough grip. A very pleasing wine and quite food friendly. "A"
