With pot roast and root veggies I opened a bottle of 2009 Mark Herold Collide, a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano and Petite Syrah. Dark purple and inky in the glass, nose of fresh blueberries and blackberries. Smooth and rich on the palate, medium heavy with plenty of berry and spice flavors. Just enough grip to give it balance. Nice wine for around $30. "B+"
