A big bowl of pasta

and a glass of red wine has to be my favorite pastime. I love it that red wine is actually heart healthy. Now for the pasta. Is there a pasta out there that adds more nutrition to my meal?

As others have pointed out, whole wheat pasta is certainly more healthful to eat than white. Spinach pasta is probably somewhere in between.

Don't overlook the sauce! Red sauces supposedly help prevent prostate cancer. Garlic, onions and olive oil are also very heart healthy foods.

Probably a good idea to cut the cheese though (in a manner of speaking ;^D).

Barilla is marketing (at least in PA) a pasta that contains, among other items bean and flax flours. It's not bad, and it contains a lot more of what's good for you than plain 'ol white. Comes in a yellow box, as I recall.
