Anyone knows of cayuga lake (NY) wines ?

I have been there - it is beautiful - the wines are substandard. Long Island or Dutchess County have some very nice wines.

I'll second that. I was not impressed by the wines and the QPR was bad. About the only wines I found somewhat enjoyable where some Rieslings and Gewürztraminers, but the decent ones were in the $20 USD range. I can find comparable wines from Germany or Alsace for $8 - $12 USD.

While many of the tasting room workers were pleasant, most were not knowledgeable of the wines and some where down right rude or arrogant.

Visit wine country elsewhere. Frankly, IMO it wasn't worth the time I spent.
