brown bros graciano

here in australia brown bros only release their graciano ex cellar door. it one of the "experimental" varietals that is in limited production. i have bought it over the years. am drinking the 2000 right now. it improves with a bit of bottle age.....3-4 years but is not a "keeper". personally i think u do better with a graciano from rioja. neil

I was really taken with this, big, rich, weighty, spicy, full of dark fruit flavours, I've popped six bottles in the cellar.

I know this is a Rioja grape, but do many Rioja producers make it as a single varietal, or is it mostly blended ?
