Chambord? Champaign

On our recent cruise on Regent, we were eating in Signatures, the Cordon Bleu alternative restaurant, when the sommelier insisted we try some special champaign. He wasn't trying to sell anything as liquor is complimentary on this ship. We gave in after he said if we didn't like it he would drink it himself. The drink turned out to be wonderful and we had several refills. I hate to admit my ignorance of wine, but I didn't even get a good look at the bottle. When we asked him what it was, he said to remember "Chambord" and "Champaign". It did have that raspberry taste to it. He was pouring from a bottle, so I assume it was not a cocktail. I can't find any such champaign listed anywhere. Does anyone have an idea what we might have been drinking? We would really like to get some.

It may well have been premixed and put into a flask resembling a bottle. As Ken's link indicates Chambord and champagne is a cocktail
