We have rceived a gift of the above, vintage 1993. We are going on a cruise in April. We would like to take this bottle with us but do not know if we would be able to finish it in one sitting. Once opened, can it be stored for the next evening. TIA SUNNY
Not really. If you cannot finish the bottle alone (about 6 glasses) then share it with someone else. There are champagne stoppers, but I wouldn't trust an expensive bottle like this to one.

This bottle (I am assuming that it is a 750ml bottle!) contains about 6 glasses - I am sure that two people will feel comfortable consuming the contents over an hour or so - especially with some suitable light savoury food.
I would not recommend even trying to save it overnight.
Aparently, putting a silver spoon in the bottle will keep the gas for a while but I would expect it would have lost it's 'beauty' after 24 hours.
Suggest you open it on a night when a full bottle of DP is justified!
