I recently had a bottle of the 1996 Drouhin Oregon PN and a bottle of the "Laurene". The regular bottling was really showing it's age with a bit of brick in the color and a bit of prune on the palate. The "Laurene" bottling was still vibrant with fruit. Bi!!

FWIW, I bought a case of each of these wines on release and have stored them at

55F in my temp controlled cellar. The "Laurene" was a bit more expensive than the regular bottling but is profoundly different now. The regular bottling was quite good a few years ago but is certainly on the down side now. Bi!!
