French A.O.C. Regulations for White Burnundy

Could someone please direct me to the White Burgundy AOC regs, preferrably in english?

I would like to see what grapes are allowed where. At least in the not too distant past, grapes other than chardonnay were allowed.

Chardonnay.

You have some sauvignon used to make Sauvignon de Saint Bris, and you have Aligote' to make Bourgogne Aligote' and its subappellation Bouzeron.

I think there's also some patches of Pinot Blanc left (some white NSG, I believe). Unsure if the rules specifically allow it, but my impression is the vines are in practice "grandfathered" in (but no new plantings).

Correct, a mutant pinot noir that turned white, only to be found at Henry Gouges. Great wine

Sorry, in French, but official:

--> TEXTES --> Vins et Spiritueux --> enter AOC name (e.g. "nuits") --> Rechercher --> From the list chose the AOC --> click [Texte]

Article (2) clearly defines two permitted grape varieties: chardonnay and pinot blanc - without any restriction of the latter. The same holds true for "Bourgogne blanc" or white "Beaune". For Montrachet (& satellites) only chardonnay is legal.

M.
