Gerard Bertrand Wines

Nov 14, 2011 0 Replies

Went to a wine and food event yesterday afternoon and a producer from Southern France was there Gerard Bertrand who was new to me and the area. He had a Tautanel and a Languedoc named L'Hospitalet liked these a lot B+. Very good pricing all under $20 and in a very familiar Southern Rhone style blends of Syrah, Grenache, Mouvedre, and Carignan. Corbieres seemed a bit bretted to me but the others were good. Chardonnay was quite simple B-. Also a Muscato, just off sweet B.
